Hi, I'm Taylor!
Billions of people are hawking their wares on the Internet, but you chose to be here! That's really cool of you.
I’m a self-taught collage artist based in Austin, Texas. In an increasingly screen-heavy world, I turned to analog collage to give me something real to do with my hands.
I'm interested in the physical things we hold onto, what we forget, and what we remember. I look for collage materials in ordinary places — estate sale garages, small town thrift stores, garage sales in my neighborhood — and I take their stories home with me to create new ones. My collages are a reflection on time passing and the ways culture, identity, and personal story are embedded in the mundane.
